"This place was a hidden jewel! My husband and I had dropped by Mountain Edge Grill but there was a wait and we were starving. The guy at the jerky place nearby recommended New Orleans Sandwich Co. We were seated right away and the man with a ponytail(I assumed to be the owner) waited on us. Super nice and helpful! The nice lady from the kitchen came and checked on us and refilled our drinks! The portions are large and the Cajun burger was amazing! We also had the Gumbo which is a must try!! Best atmosphere! We will be back!!"

"YUMMY! I'm from Louisiana and I feel home! The best French bread and sea food gumbo with many yummy things In it! The service was also good with a tv too! 10/10"

"Just the best family owned and operated. Great everything. We had the Seafood Gumbo and Red Beans and Rice. A cup is enough to fill anyone up. Don't miss this hidden treasure!"

"If i could give this place infinite stars i would. This restaurant needs to be featured on some type of national television because it is life changing. Lexi, the hostess, is the definition of a southern belle w/ southern charm. She was super sweet and very attentive to our table! We had the shrimp poboy, seafood gumbo, and the fat Tuesday ferdie sandwich w/ roast beef and turkey. There's so many amazing things to say about the food so I'll just do some quick highlights: the bread was CRISP, the flavors? UNMATCHED. The service and environment? Feels like you're right at home eating a home cooked meal. If you're ever in the area. The ONE restaurant you need is New Orleans Sandwiches.  The portion sizes are actually MASSIVE but not heavy that it will make you want to fall asleep. All i can say is that this restaurant is the freaking HEART AND SOUL of gatlinburg. A must do for anyone and everyone. This is a family owned restaurant- it's mainly 4 people Lexi- her grandmother, dad, and uncle- all who were extremely welcoming and friendly"

"Lucky enought to happen to stop here while out and about. Didn't look at reviews etc so went in not knowing what to expect and what we got was amazing. Mufaletta was superb. Ive had the original in New Orleans and this is a close competitor. Gf had the rice and beans and said it was great as well. 10/10 would recommend."

"We read the reviews and thought it sounded to good to be true. It was better than we imagined. I had the Shrimp Po boy which was yummy. I’m from Florida so I’m picky about my shrimp. These were fried perfectly. My husband had the Fat Ferdie. Roast beef, ham, Swiss cheese and juices. It truly was the best sandwich we both have ever had. You will be stuffed when you leave. Sandwiches are large and beer was cold."

"We almost got pizza and saw this little hole in the wall and man, what a random last minute choice to make. There were 8 of us and we were seated promptly and we all just felt like we walked into gold. Everything is served on paper plates so you know it's good! Seriously, best po' boys around. Shrimp, sausage, chicken...didn't matter. The bread. Oh the bread. Skip the Main Street restaurants and head into New Orleans Deli. You won't regret it."

"OMG! This place! It totally saved us. We didn't expect Gatlinburg would be so busy. This was our second choice since the other place we wanted to dine in didn't work out. We had a red beans and rice and a two poboys! Let me tell you! It was amazing. It was so homey and the server made us feel we were back in New Orleans."

"Fantastic service, atmosphere and food. Seafood gumbo with toasted, buttered French bread was heavenly. Fried Shrimp Po'Boy was delicious. No wait on a Saturday night when the Parkway was packed. If I didn't live 500 miles away, I'd be a regular!"

"Great little place. Family owned and run. Portions are large. Shrimp po boys as good as I have had on the gulf coast. Easy to miss this place but once you find it you will want to go back."

"Hole in the wall kinda hard to find - this walk in shopping area in opens into a courtyard, and this is the back end storefront. For some reason we did not see a lot of signage until we were right up on it. Really good canjun with really big portions for the price. I had the shrimp poboy, which was filled with large shrimp. Also had a "cup" of jambalaya, but I swear it was a full meal portion. Every dish that went by looked great!"

Unpopular opinion: Gatlinburg is the worst type of tourist trap. The one shining star is New Orleans Sandwich shop. It's off the beaten path. Run by legit Cajuns. The food is authentic, delicious Cajun food. The gumbo was the star, but the Poboy was a close second. The staff were all friendly despite being clearly busy. They made sure everyone was promptly served. If you are in the area you must drop in for a meal!"
